About Me

I am motivated by the urgent need to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Global mean sea-level rise will impact a large number of people and assets concentrated along the world's low-elevation coastal zones. My work seeks to understand the drivers of relative sea-level changes along tropical coastlines, which can be influenced not only be changes to the volume of our oceans but also by local vertical land motion. I have broader interests in the role of natural climate solutions in climate change mitigation, and their interactions with sea-level change.
